Produktionsenheten presents Schleuser.net and Gregor Noll

Produktionsenhteten is happy to invite you to a lecture by the artist group Schleuser.net and Gregor Noll, associate professor of international law at the Faculty of Law, Lund University.

The lectures will focus on migration politics, where the speakers will talk about different strategies in discussing and activating topics related to undocumented travelling and asylum laws.

Schleuser.net is a German artist group that presents themselves as a lobby organization for business enterprises specializing in undocumented cross border human traffic. Gregor Noll’s writing focus on different aspects of the European asylum politics and its history. His doctoral thesis from 2000 is called ”Negotiating Asylum”. He has authored a number of articles on the theory of human rights, the use of force as well as on the concept of security in international law, the problem of gender and persecution, democracy theory and refugee law.

The lectures will take place at Rooseum, Malmö on Saturday the 22nd of April 12.00 – 15.00

The Production Unit is a research project and a forum for artists working with investigative journalism, media criticism and narrative experiment. The project focuses on a critical analysis of narrative structure within video art and film, plus a debate around pictures’ production and distribution system in general.
The Production Unit arranges seminars, lectures and symposiums to create an interdisciplinary discussion around narrative structures. The Production Unit consists of Petra Bauer, Nanna Debois Buhl, Kajsa Dahlberg, Johanna Gustafsson, Sara Jordenö, Conny Karlsson, Runo Lagomarsino, Ditte Lyngkær-Pedersen and Ylva Westerlund.
